We are seeking a motivated and results-oriented Account Executive to join our sales team. The Account Executive will play a vital role in driving revenue growth, establishing customer relationships, and embodying our core values of trust, a growth mindset, problem-solving, and leadership. This position demands a proactive and customer-focused individual who can effectively communicate our value proposition and drive sales success.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Execution

  • Partner with the Salesforce channel to drive growth.
  • Leverage your existing network of relationships with Salesforce and in the industry to bring Vemicon into new accounts and opportunities.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets by actively prospecting, qualifying, and closing new business opportunities.
  • Meet with client executives to discuss clients’ project goals, progress and outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of our services, ensuring the ability to articulate their value proposition to potential customers.

Account Management

  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and identifying opportunities for upselling or cross-selling.
  • Understand and articulate the Vemicon Way (our delivery process and standards) to clients.
  • Support creation of client SOWs when necessary
  • Engage with clients to ensure proper planning and project team handoffs and integration.
  • Help identify future opportunities for additional projects, process improvements, and other roles that the client could benefit from.
  • Manage client expectations and collaborate with the delivery team to resolve client escalations.
  • Lead RFP Response efforts for assigned clients.
  • Provide visibility to Salesforce stakeholders (account executives, customer success, etc.) on current engagements to jointly drive Salesforce expansion opportunities.
  • Host Quarterly Business Reviews with select key clients to ensure alignment to goals and objectives.

Sales Process Optimization

  • Utilize sales tools and Salesforce to manage leads, track activities, and report on sales metrics.
  • Provide feedback regarding market trends, customer needs, and competitive intelligence to optimize sales strategies.

Market Research and Prospecting

  • Conduct market research to identify potential customers and market segments.
  • Generate leads through networking, referrals, cold calling, and other sales prospecting techniques.

Team Collaboration

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to align sales strategies with marketing initiatives, ensuring consistent messaging and brand representation.
  • Work closely with the sales team, sharing insights and best practices to drive overall sales performance.
  • Collaborate with the operations and delivery team for client onboarding and delivery handoff.

Job requirements

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years partnering with the Salesforce sales channel, or similar experience.
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding services sales quotas.
  • Proven experience co-selling in the Salesforce partner channel.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and internal teams.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a strong drive to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills, demonstrating the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Ability to travel as needed.
